I never got a tattoo growing up because I was wary of creating a permanent billboard on my body for something that may only be a passing fancy. Good thing, too, because I would have likely tattooed “Led Zeppelin” across my forehead in high school. Yes, I was a huge fan then; but two decades later, er, not so much.
Nevertheless, I respect those who are passionate enough about something to use their limited body space to permanently endorse it. I’m even more amazed that some computer geeks are willing to permanently brand themselves with something as fleeting as technology. The following tattoo collection honors those brave geeks:
Apple

The Apple logo is the “Playboy bunny” of computer tattoos: sexy and chic.

So what does this tramp stamp say? “Turn me on?” “Take a bite of my apple?”

The irony is not lost. People get tattoos to rebel and be different. But tattoos have become so popular now that people rebel by NOT getting a tattoo.
Old technology tattoos never die, they just fade away

That’s the Commodore Amiga checkmark on his arm, and the famous Amiga Boing Ball on her shoulder.

The Atari 2600 forever changed what it means to be a game console. Not sure if it’s worth a tattoo, though.
Speaking of Games…

This space cadet has been invaded.

Pac Man has never smelled so bad! This guy was tired of his mom telling him to get off his butt and stop playing games.

Ironically, this is also the phrase that most women utter when they see his tattoo.
Might as well tattoo “GEEK” across your forehead

Yes, in case you were wondering, this spells “geek” in binary.

“Blue screen of death” tattooed on body results in “red arm of pain.”

Just in case there was any confusion…

And taking it a step further…

There seems to be a tag mismatch error.
Walking Billboard

Little known fact: you can get a Dell tattoo while you wait on a Dell support call.

Because the Internet Explorer tattoo was just too bloated.

“I Google myself daily,” this geek proclaims.

Unlike with software, it’s not a good idea to get an “open sores” tattoo.

I didn’t know Ballmer had a moustache!
What the Point?

This tattoo was left over from surgery to remove his appendix.
Terminator

Don’t you just hate when your skin peals back to reveal your cybernetic components?
Have a Nice Day

We hope you enjoyed this tour of geek tattoos.
If you were to get a geek tattoo, what would it be?

The love hate tatoo is great because it essentially says “End Hate”.
