Howdy ya'll,

Being a pilot and in law enforcement, this numb pinky and half of ring finger along with the weakness in the overall hand (1st finger and thumb clumsiness) is NOT acceptable. I had a disk herniation at C5/6 which fusion fixed a bunch of pain in my neck, shoulders and arms (gone!!!) the hand is still a mess. I am left handed which is a plus, but since September, I lost feeling in my piggy and 1/2 of my right ring finger, then too the strength in my other fingers and thumb, plus triggering became a big problem in my job. Flying a helicopter, my right hand went numb while flying, not good.. shooting weak hand, clumsy uncontrollable, never mind typing for shift reports. I have surgery scheduled next week to move the Ulnar nerve from my elbow and hand. I am very positive that this will relieve this mess. There is NO direct connection between work and activities that has caused this, but years of shooting rifles and such leaning on my right elbow..humm.... Wish me luck!!!
